Ecuador Artist Tour

As partners with Compassion, a group of Christian artists and speakers already believed in the ministry's program to help children in poverty. But it wasn't until they traveled to Ecuador that their belief became faith fueled by passion. Journey with such artists as Denver Bierman, Ginny Owens and the groups Point of Grace and Seventh Day Slumber as they visit their sponsored children and tour Compassion's program.

"When I talk about Compassion now, I can tell people that I've seen it," says Joseph Rojas of Seventh Day Slumber. Joseph spent an afternoon with children in an Ecuadorian project, playing games and giving piggy-back rides to children who often have few positive male role models in their lives. Christian artist Justin McRoberts and his wife, Amy, were able to meet 10-year-old Roberto, whom they have sponsored for four years. Justin and Amy also sponsor children in Colombia and Kenya. Many sponsors are able to meet their sponsored child's entire families and see the difference Compassion can make in homes and communities.
