Denver Bierman of Denver and the Mile High Orchestra and his wife, Amy, had the opportunity to meet their sponsored child, Angie, while visiting Guayaquil, Ecuador. "Meeting Angie was surreal," says Denver. "It's humbling to know that Amy and I have been a part of this little girl's daily life, yet we had never met her until the trip." Alli Rogers, a Christian artist from Nashville, Tennessee, signs a different kind of autograph as a group of giggling girls in Ecuador asked her to write her name on their hands. "There we were, a bunch of kids who couldn't understand each other," says Alli. "So we wrote our names on our hands, as if to say I am a part of you and you are a part of me. I was reminded of the verse in Isaiah that says 'See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands.'"
