Colombia Sponsor Tour

On June 3, 35 sponsors visited Colombia on the first sponsor tour to this region and saw the realities that Colombian children must face every day.

After an exhausting week of visiting eight Compassion-assisted projects, sponsors had a true picture of hope in the midst of despair. Share in their experience through this slideshow!

Colombia still struggles with violent conflict as drug trafficking and corruption run rampant in the country. Mothers are desperate to protect their children from violence, but must spend hours desperately looking for jobs and leaving their children home alone.

When a group of 35 sponsors visited Cartagena, they were among the first outsiders to witness the struggles and triumphs in this city torn by drug addiction and violence. Read more about Compassion's work in Colombia.
