WEEK 1
Thursday 1
We praise God for the miraculous recovery of Yessica Bibiana Castro, 10, in Colombia, who was diagnosed with leukemia and had a bone marrow transplant a year ago. She is back in school and resuming a normal life!

Friday 2
Pray for the 2,760 children in 12 child development centers and their 1,392 family members who are suffering from a devastating famine in northern Uganda. Pray that Compassion Uganda's emergency food distribution efforts run smoothly.

Saturday 3
Pray for sponsored children in eastern Indonesia who are struggling with illness: Dandi Harimu, 9, who has heart problems, and Jumeidy Hengkendai, 4, who has acute kidney disease and other ailments.

WEEK 2
Sunday 4
Pray for Haitian Child Survival Program (CSP) child Noel Rodley, 1, who has a mouth malformation that makes eating and speaking difficult.

Monday 5
Please continue to pray for God's protection over our staff and children in Honduras. Also pray for the 11 child development centers where field and sponsor visits have been canceled or postponed due to the volatile political situation.

Tuesday 6
Please pray for the 1,500 Compassion children and their families in Burkina Faso who lost their homes and possessions during severe flooding. Pray for their protection.

Wednesday 7
Please pray for Marcela Ibañez, 10, in Bolivia, who has behavioral problems due to the death of her dad and abandonment by her mom.

Thursday 8
Pray for the mother of Indian child Blessintha Paulraj, who was diagnosed with cancer. Pray for God's healing touch.

Friday 9
Pray for comfort and provision for two CSP families at the Divino Maestro Student Center in the Dominican Republic, whose homes burned down because of poorly managed electrical wiring.

Saturday 10
Pray for the field office staff in Burkina Faso, who are still dealing with electrical, water and phone problems in the new building. Please ask God to help them find a solution.

We praise God for Hector Mendiola, 6, in Mexico, who was miraculously healed of cancer!

Monday 12
Please continue to pray for Umuhire Odda Noelle, 9, from Rwanda, who was transferred to Kenya for further treatment of acute lymphoid leukemia.

Tuesday 13
Please pray for the Leadership Development Program (LDP) students in Brazil who are facing many challenges and temptations in their lives.

Wednesday 14
Please pray for Richard Borman Titus, 9, in Bangladesh, who suffers from epilepsy.

Thursday 15
Pray for rain in Kenya. The main grain-producing areas did not get enough rain to grow crops.

Friday 16
Please pray for the health of the 31 children in Honduras who were treated for the H1N1 virus, especially Carla Rosales, 10, who contracted the disease.

Saturday 17
Pray for Fernando Cruz, 17, in Bolivia, who has decided to drop out of the student center. Pray for God's protection over his life and that he doesn't walk away from his faith.

WEEK 4
Sunday 18
Please pray for the following sponsored Colombian children who are experiencing health problems: Laura Cogollo, 12, needs heart surgery, and Brayan López, 13, has a lung condition.

Monday 19
Pray for the family of eastern Indonesian child, Aprico Pesik, 8, who passed away in August. Please uphold his family and his sponsor in your prayers.

Tuesday 20
Pray for Arputha Arun, 15, in India, whose father needs deliverance from alcohol addiction.

Wednesday 21
Please ask God for a special blessing for sponsored Ethiopian child Tigist Mitiku, 9, who wrote her sponsor that she is unhappy. Pray for the child's renewed joy and happiness.

Thursday 22
Please pray for Peruvian sponsored children Areli Naume Matos Camponanes, 8, Katherine Milagros Rebaza Lujan, 6, Ana Cristina Curi Osorio, 7, Ana Estefany Curi Osorio, 7, Linder Ponce Lino, 7, and Maria Cielo Ponce Lino, 5, who all recently lost their fathers.

Friday 23
Pray for the HIV-positive Compassion beneficiaries in Uganda who are unable to take their antiretroviral therapy medications because it requires an intake of food and the famine is making that nearly impossible.

Saturday 24
Please pray for the family of Lizbeth Chavez Rios, 17, in Mexico, who passed away. Pray for peace and comfort for the family.

WEEK 5
Sunday 25
Pray for comfort for 6-year-old Jake and his siblings in the Philippines. Their mother died of cancer.

Monday 26
Please pray for God's protection for the following children in Bolivia who suffer from abuse by their parents: Giovanni, Rosa, Janeth, Ariana, Sara, Rebeca, Daniel, and Jose and his sister.

Tuesday 27
Pray for healing for the following Thai children: Marasri Chonwaree, 8, who has leukemia, and Kunkamon Junya, 16, who was badly hurt in an accident.

Wednesday 28
Pray for Haitian LDP student Luckson Alexandre, who suffers from kidney failure and needs regular dialysis.

Thursday 29
Pray for Horichad Das, 12, in Bangladesh, who needs a second heart surgery.

Friday 30
Please pray for the Lord's comfort for the many children in Ethiopia who have lost their families due to AIDS and other diseases.

Saturday 31
We praise God that all of the registered children and one caregiver in Uganda who had been admitted to a hospital with cholera have been discharged!
