Thursday 1 Sixteen-year-old Redempta Niyireba in Rwanda is paralyzed on the right side of her body and is in critical condition. She was treated in a hospital but shows no improvement. Pray for a miracle of healing for her.
Friday 2 Pray for 6-year-old Ranjan Das in Bangladesh as he struggles with illness. Pray for the correct diagnosis and treatment.
Saturday 3 We prayed last month for Endalkachew Fekadu in Ethiopia, a second-year pharmacy student in our Leadership Development Program (LDP). He is in treatment for drug-resistant tuberculosis and is improving. Continue to pray for his complete recovery.
Sunday 4 We praise God for His touch on 16-year-old Lydia Benny in India. She was seriously injured in a road accident and was in a coma. She now has improved and released to go home.
Monday 5 Pray for 12-year-old Rinaldi Hendrik Fiah in Indonesia as he undergoes corrective surgery for a birth defect. He needs confidence to lead a normal life.
Tuesday 6 Pray for 9-year-old Joyce Nara Nunes da Silva in Brazil in her struggle with cancer in her arm. Treatment helped but she now has a fracture that needs surgery.
Wednesday 7 Kanazoé Ibrahim in Burkina Faso accepted Christ as Savior and now is experiencing rejection from his parents and relatives. Pray for a strong commitment to Jesus.
Thursday 8 Pray again for the child Foster Pesik in Indonesia in his battle with leukemia.
Friday 9 Pray for Jisu Hansdak in eastern India who has kalazar, a serious viral infection.
Saturday 10 Pray for LDP student Sylah Dohinog in the Philippines as she recovers from heart surgery. She received a pacemaker implant and needs a quick recovery.
Sunday 11 Eyerusalem Widneh in Ethiopia had brain tumor surgery and she is recovering well. Praise God for His mercy on this child.
Monday 12 Pray for continuing relief efforts in the Philippines in the aftermath of recent typhoons. In Bicol, 41 Compassion-assisted families are safe in comfortable tents, with a pastor nearby.
Tuesday 13 Ten-year-old Zongo Pharése in Burkina Faso suffers from kidney problems and needs surgery. Pray for a quick recovery.
Wednesday 14 Pray for the Compassion-assisted children in Indonesia whose fathers are fishermen. The government has forbidden them to sail during the stormy season and this affects the family incomes.
Thursday 15 Pray for the 33 children in the Philippines who were stricken with malaria in January. They need healing.
Friday 16 Pray for the family, sponsor and friends of Monica Lourdes, an LDP student in Ecuador. She stepped off a bus and a car without lights ran into her. She now is with Jesus, and those left are grieving the loss of a beautiful young lady.
Saturday 17 Pray for our prayer partners who have committed time to pray for the children in our prayer calendar. Pray for strength, joy and peace to renew each one.
Sunday 18 We praise God for a good report from Burkina Faso. Many children and parents are turning to Jesus, being positively influenced by Compassion's ministry. Pray for God's protection of each one.

Thursday 22 The mother of three children in Honduras passed away in January due to cancer. The children, Rita, Carlos and Leiry, are in the care of their stepfather. Pray for God's loving comfort.
Friday 23 Pray for Sunemiya Nag in eastern India. He is weak from anemia and needs blood transfusions.
