Friday 1  Two LDP (Leadership Development Program) students in Colombia need prayer for good health. They are Yoreldy Gonzalez and Lida Pérez.

Saturday 2   Pray for Maria Leonora in Indonesia as she struggles with low self-esteem. She receives counseling and needs healing.

Sunday 3  The Burkina Faso staff is praising God for protecting the children in Compassion's child development centers from the meningitis pandemic. God is good.

Monday 4  Pray for two siblings in India, 11-year-old Manikandan Munuswamy and 7-year-old Ajay, whose mother died when their gas stove exploded.

Tuesday 5  Pray for 5-year-old Mirian Cristian Atizol in the Dominican Republic. Both grandparents died recently and she is struggling to adjust to the loss. She had been very close to them.

Wednesday 6  The family of Fedline Estilien in Haiti lost everything in a fire and they need prayer for God's provision as they restore their home.

Thursday 7  Pray for three children in Ecuador whose mother is seriously ill with stomach cancer and not expected to recover. They are 11-year-old Aaron, 9-year-old Camila and 12-year-old Victor Cortez.

Friday 8  Pray for 12-year-old Mariza Nyantaba in Rwanda, an orphan who suffers serious mental problems. She is receiving treatment and needs a miracle.

Saturday 9  Nine-year-old Panji Riwanto in Indonesia recently had an appendectomy. Pray for his recovery.

Sunday 10  Praise God for the good health of the children and staff in eastern India. They had fewer malaria cases than usual and 10 children were healed.

Monday 11  Lenlengué Adama Anselme in Burkina Faso lives with his father and his stepmother, who is unkind to him. Pray for a change in this family.

Tuesday 12 Eleven-year-olds Biswanath Pramanick and Akshay Das in eastern India have eye problems. Pray for successful treatment and healing for them.

Wednesday 13  Pray for 8-year-old Zoma Michel in Burkina Faso, who suffered severe ear pain and needed surgery. Pray for his recovery.

Thursday 14  Pray for Sourav Naskar, a child in eastern India, who has chest problems and needs a quick recovery. 

Friday 15  Pray for 9-year-old Nanda Ardina Tiara in Indonesia who suffers from headaches. A specialist diagnosed a brain tumor and she is receiving treatment.

Saturday 16  The family of Abner Juarez, an LDP student in Guatemala, is struggling economically because his father is unemployed and his mother has health problems. Pray for God's provision and good health for the family, and encouragement for Abner. 

Sunday 17  Pray for fathers around the world to be the Christ-like men God has called them to be, as examples to their children of His great love.

Monday 18  Pray for God's comfort for 7-year-old Abdoulaye Sankara in Burkina Faso. His mother died in February and he is struggling with the loss.

Tuesday 19  Pray for siblings, 6-year-old Ayuk Krismawati and 13-year-old Eko Muryanto and their family in Indonesia. Their house burned down and they lost everything.

Wednesday 20  Lazaro Can, an LDP student in Guatemala, needs prayer for a quick recovery from knee surgery. His and his family also need God's comfort as they grieve the death of his beloved grandmother.

Thursday 21 Thirteen-year-old Jorge Diniz Pereira in Brazil suffers from leukemia and needs treatments twice weekly. The trips to the hospital are a hardship for the parents, who are very poor. Pray for them. 

Friday 22  Pray for healing of 8-year-old Santosh Bhowmik in eastern India, who suffered a head injury.

Saturday 23  Pray for 11-year-old Mita Rana in eastern India to be healed from leg pain.                                                                                       

Sunday 24  Praise God for 120 people who gave their lives to Christ in Kenya and for the LDP students who built houses for two widows. 

 Monday 25  Pray for 6-year-old Reza Anastania in Indonesia as she receives treatment for a defective heart.

Tuesday 26  Pray for 6-year-old Ilboudo Bachirou in Burkina Faso. His father committed suicide and it has affected the child deeply. Pray for the family. 

Wednesday 27  Karina Arroyo, an LDP law student in Guatemala, is applying for a job in a judicial office. Pray she is chosen for a position.

Thursday 28  Pray for Tapsoba Etienne in Burkina Faso, who suffers from heart problems and needs God's healing touch.

Friday 29  The mother of LDP student Johan Heredia in the Dominican Republic is very sick. Pray for her recovery and return to good health.                                                           

Saturday 30 Pray for our prayer partners in the United States and around the world as they faithfully pray for the children God has committed to our care.       

SPECIFIC COUNTRY NEEDS

ECUADOR:                                                                         

In April, heavy rains and landslides caused the river to overflow and destroy part of a community located near the jungle. Thankfully, no lives were lost; however, many homes and crops were destroyed. The community, including students, worked to clean up the elementary school and the high school. Please pray for the families as they rebuild and restore their homes.  

Also, please pray for God's protection against infection from contaminated water, for God's peace and strength as displaced families are temporarily housed with relatives or in shelters, and for the construction of new homes for the families in the community.                                                       

RWANDA:                                                                      

Pray for peace and unity in Rwanda and the Holy Spirit to heal the people as they seek the Lord's will for their country.

BURKINA FASO:                                                              

Pray for God's intervention in the increasing number of street children in various communities in Burkina Faso.
