We praise God for His faithfulness as we celebrate 40 years of service to the children of India!

Monday 2
Please pray for Peruvian teen Jesús Chavez Morales, 17, whose mother passed away after a long battle with diabetes, cancer and kidney failure. Pray for strength for Jesús' father, who is doing his best to raise his two children.

Tuesday 3
Pray for the health and safety of the children and families affected by spring flooding in Indonesia. Also pray for the child development centers to smoothly implement relief efforts.

Wednesday 4
Pray for caregivers for the thousands of orphans living in Ghana. Pray that the caregivers will have the resources to meet the holistic needs of these children.

Thursday 5
Pray for comfort for Miriam Acuña Effio, 14, in Peru, whose mother died suddenly of a stroke. Miriam will now live with her aunt.

Friday 6
Please pray for 8-year-old Foster Pesik in eastern Indonesia who has leukemia. He needs medical treatment and monthly blood transfusions.

Saturday 7
Pray for the hundreds of families in the Dominican Republic who are still homeless because of Tropical Storm Noel and Hurricane Olga.

WEEK 2
Sunday 8
Pray for those working with the street children of Bogotá, Colombia, that God will speak through them His message of hope and healing.

Monday 9
Pray for the family of 6-year-old Bonface Murimi Mutiria in Kenya who drowned in a river while fetching water for his family.

Tuesday 10
We praise God that the Pantheni Child Development Center in eastern India was able to provide all Compassion-assisted children with typhoid vaccinations.

Wednesday 11
Pray for the thousands of children forced to engage in child labor in Nicaragua. Pray that their families will see the importance of educating their children.

Thursday 12
Pray for the children in Burkina Faso whose parents do not want them to become Christians or to attend child development center activities. Pray that all children will have permission to participate fully.

Friday 13
Please pray for God's provision and favor over the 95 percent of Compassion-assisted children in Bangladesh affected by a famine resulting from the current economic crisis. Some are living on the one meal a day they receive at their child development centers.

Saturday 14
We praise God for new staff member, David, who joined the office in Bangladesh as a Field Communication Specialist.

WEEK 3
Sunday 15
Pray for responsible parents and a miraculous reduction in the number of abandoned children in Honduras.

Monday 16
We praise God for the healing of eastern Indian staff members Mr. N.T. Zeme and Sister Maheswari Rebecca!

Tuesday 17
Pray for Manpreet Kaur Pyara Singh, 8, of India who is undergoing regular treatment for diabetes and tuberculosis.

Wednesday 18
Pray for Barbra Kyokunzire, 14, in Uganda whose kidneys have failed. She is on dialysis and hoping for a kidney transplant soon.

Thursday 19
Pray for low- and middle-class parents in Haiti, where in just two months the cost of living has increased up to 50 percent, making feeding their children difficult.

Friday 20
Pray for healing for Zaina Achom, 11, of Uganda from surgery for an intestinal blockage.

Saturday 21
Pray for God's comfort, strength and peace for the family of Yosua Erwin Bom Doga, 8, in eastern Indonesia who recently passed away.

WEEK 4

Please pray for healing for 12-year-old Aroldo Alejandro Escobar Meneses from Guatemala who has been diagnosed with leukemia.

Monday 23
Pray for Yaméogo Gervais, a 10-year-old boy in Burkina Faso who is suffering from a heart disorder and needs God's healing touch.

Tuesday 24
Praise God for the successful surgery on Semi Setyani, 14, in Indonesia to repair a rare heart condition.

Wednesday 25
Pray for Marie Jeanne Girituze, the Rwanda office's IT Specialist, who is in France for the treatment for a skin disease that has baffled the Rwandan doctors.

Thursday 26
Please pray for the staff at the Tanzania office as they grieve the death of their colleague, Colleen Magezi, who passed away from postnatal complications. Please pray also for Colleen's husband and three children.

Friday 27
Pray for Gnana Prakash, 8, a boy in India who lost his mother to heart and kidney failure.

Saturday 28
Pray for Rey Roger Morales Quispe, 7, in Peru who lost his mother to stomach cancer. Pray for strength for Rey's father as he raises his children by himself.

Pray for Brazilian siblings Daniela, 9, and Rodrigo Santana Oliveira, 14, who just lost their mother.

Monday 30
We praise God for Aupo Das, 6, in Bangladesh who recently had surgery for a heart defect. The operation was successful and Aupo is recovering well!
