Sunday 1   We praise God for Compassion's day of prayer and fasting for cancer patients several weeks ago. We are trusting the Great Physician for His mercy upon each life that was covered in prayer. 

Monday 2    Pray for the families of several children in Guatemala. They were at a bus stop with two dads when a car lost control and injured five of them.

Tuesday 3  Pray for 9-year-old Agista Indriawati in Indonesia to fully recover from typhoid symptoms. She was treated in a hospital and released to go home.

Wednesday 4   Americans celebrate Independence Day today. Pray for a spirit of thankfulness for the freedoms we enjoy, and for God's protection of our military personnel in their service to our country.

Thursday 5   Pray for 15-year-old Edgar Silva Navas in Ecuador who is in chemotherapy treatments twice weekly. He needs strength and healing.

Friday 6    Pray for 8-year-old Ana Flores in Nicaragua. She is in treatment for skin discolorations and abdominal pain.

Saturday 7   Pray for 13-year-old Steven Marudu in Indonesia. He left the orphanage on April 16 and has not returned. Police are still searching for the child.

Sunday 8   We praise God for touching Endalkachew Fekadu's body. He is an LDP student in Ethiopia and was struggling with his health. Pray for continued strength and healing.

Monday 9   Pray for the mother of 8-year-old Assema Monica in India as she battles bone tuberculosis.

Tuesday 10  Fifteen-year-old Alejandra Quispe in Bolivia was diagnosed with a tumor in her head and she needs prayer for healing.                                                                           

Wednesday 11   Pray for 8-year-old Congo Hamed in Burkina Faso, who refuses to attend school. He is mentally ill and lives with his grandmother. Pray for God's wisdom to guide her in caring for the child.

Thursday 12  Pray for Agnes Uwera in Rwanda who is critically ill with leukemia. The child was too weak to travel to a cancer institute in Uganda. She needs strength and healing.

Friday 13   Pray for 10-year-old Celia and 8-year-old Lester Zamora in Nicaragua, who lost their mother from a heart attack. Their father is now caring for them.

Saturday 14  Pray for Ouédraogo Isidor in Burkina Faso who suffered a broken hand while playing with his friends in the child development center.

Sunday 15   We praise God for the nine families in Bangladesh that accepted Christ as Savior.

Monday 16  Eleven-year-old Habtamu Betre in Ethiopia was injured in a car accident and was delayed in starting school. Pray that he will quickly get caught up with his class.

Tuesday 17   Pray for 13-year-old Jyothi in India as she grieves the death of her mother in May from cancer.

Wednesday 18   Pray for 7-year-old Guadalupe and 10-year-old Noel Fernandez in Nicaragua as they cope with the separation of their parents. They need peace.

Thursday 19   Pray for the family of Flordeamor Lurian in the Philippines. She lost the battle with cancer and left her four children in the care of their grandmother.

Friday 20  Pray for Birba Samiratou in Burkina Faso in her struggle with mental problems. The child talks to herself and is aggressive. She needs healing.

Saturday 21  Pray 14-year-old Senait Workineh in Ethiopia as she recovers from a car accident.

Sunday 22  We praise God for 15 LDP students in the Philippines who are preparing for review of their licensure exams. Pray for success for each one.

Monday 23   Pray for healing of 14-year-old Hugo Orlando Guaman in Ecuador from leukemia.

Tuesday 24  Thirteen-year-old Jerusalem Widneh in Ethiopia needs prayer for healing of a brain tumor.

Wednesday 25  Pray for 14-year-old twins Trisha and Shreya in India. Their mother has mental problems and the girls are frequently absent at the child development center.

Thursday 26   The grandmother of Joseling Velasquez in Nicaragua asks prayer for the child's protection in her home environment. The family members are bad examples and negligent in their care of her.

Friday 27  Pray for 13-year-old Ronald Garcia Lazaro in Bolivia. He needs healing from a malignant brain tumor.

Saturday 28    Pray for the children and staff in Ethiopia as they grieve the death of Sisay, the director of their child development center. Pray also for God's comfort for his family.

Sunday 29  Give praise to our Father for our Compassion prayer partners who pray for the children and their families. Pray for one another to be strengthened, encouraged and healed.

Monday 30  Pray for three students in Ethiopia who are struggling with illnesses and need healing. They are Tarikua Jene, Fikru Umma and Yeshak Nuri.

Tuesday 31  Pray for the child, Masresha, in Ethiopia as she struggles with a heart problem.
