Wednesday 1
We praise God that although 12 Compassion-assisted child development centers were in the path of Typhoon Chan-Hom when it hit the Philippine island of Luzon, none were damaged by the storm and no Compassion-assisted children were affected!
Thursday 2
Pray for Peruvian siblings Julio, 5, and Maricielo Aranda Ibañez, 3, and their family as they grieve the loss of their father, who died from a head injury suffered during a soccer game.
Friday 3
Please continue to pray for the victims of several bombings that tore through Tanzania.
Saturday 4
Pray for protection and comfort for those affected by the recent 7.1-magnitude earthquake in Honduras. No Compassion children, however, were hurt.
WEEK 2
Sunday 5
Pray for the 50 new child development centers in Indonesia that are beginning operations in the next year. Pray for fruitful relationships between the partnership facilitators and Compassion.
Monday 6
Pray for the mother of Colombian sponsored child Monica, who has cancer and is in an intensive care unit. Pray also for encouragement for Monica.
Tuesday 7
Pray for the Compassion-assisted children in Ethiopia who are ready to give up on their future. Pray that God will reveal to them their worth and provide for their future.
Wednesday 8
Pray for the 400 Compassion-assisted children in Bangladesh who were affected by Cyclone Aila. Some of their homes were destroyed, while others have been rendered uninhabitable. Several child development centers were damaged as well.
Thursday 9
Please pray for the father of Indian Leadership Development Program student Davidson Sevashish, who suffered a stroke a year ago and has been in a coma ever since. Pray for a full recovery.
Friday 10
We praise God that Compassion staff in Mexico confirm that no Compassion-assisted children were infected by the H1N1 virus and that the child development centers in Hidalgo and Chiapas have resumed regular activities!
Saturday 11
Pray for Nkomezi Patrick, 16, of Rwanda, who has an infection in his mastoid bone and needs surgery.
WEEK 3
Sunday 12
Please pray for five child development centers in southern Haiti that have been flooded by recent heavy rains. Also pray for protection during the upcoming hurricane season.
Monday 13
Pray for Atul and his family in eastern India. Atul is having an operation soon, his sister suffers from swollen legs, and his mother needs surgery for kidney stones.
Tuesday 14
Pray for the Compassion-assisted children in Brazil who have lost their homes due to heavy rains and are now at risk of dengue fever.
Wednesday 15
Please pray for Spencer in Nicaragua, who was recently injured in an accident and needs total recovery.
Thursday 16
Pray that the parents of our sponsored children in Ghana will take a genuine interest in the spiritual lives of their children and truly understand what Compassion is all about.
Friday 17
Pray for the family of Bangladeshi children Nody, 4, and her sister, Beauti, 3, who were killed when the mud hut they lived in collapsed during Cyclone Aila. Pray for peace and comfort.
Saturday 18
Pray for home and family stability so that the children of Tanzania will not be affected by broken marriages or conflicts.

Please pray for Greiss Ruth Torres Alvarado, 8, in Peru, who was born with only one kidney and now desperately needs a kidney transplant.

Pray for the 13 Compassion-assisted children in Rwanda who have heart complications and need to be transferred to India for further treatment.

Pray for safe deliveries for the 118 pregnant mothers in our Child Survival Program centers in India.
Wednesday 22
We praise God the recent earthquake in El Salvador caused only minor damage to the homes of seven Compassion-assisted families. None were displaced and all repairs have been made!
Thursday 23
Pray for the mother of Rosalin Mora Huaman, 13, in Peru. She is in intense pain due to rheumatoid arthritis and is unable to work to help provide for the family.
Friday 24
Please pray for the family and friends of Roselyn Raqueza, 11, from the Philippines, who recently died of rheumatic heart disease. Pray for God's comfort and strength.
Saturday 25
Pray for 16-year-old Maria from Colombia, who is suffering from anorexia. Her parents are ignoring the situation and won't help Maria get treatment.

Pray for Siborurema Pascal, 20, of Rwanda, who fell from a tree and fractured his rib.

Pray for Komol Tati, 9, and Hafijur Rahaman, 6, in Bangladesh, who suffer from heart disease.

Please pray for Compassion-assisted child development center workers in Burkina Faso, that the Lord would grant them energy and strength each day as they minister to the children.
