1 Monday    Pray for a wonderful beginning of a new year for children around the world and your family.

2 Tuesday     Pray for Gulfan Allabakshi in India. The child underwent minor surgery in her ear, but later was admitted to the hospital with a severe fever and seizures.

3 Wednesday   We prayed in October for Uptal in Bangladesh who had brain surgery and was in serious condition. He has not improved and his parents took him home from the hospital. Pray for him and his parents.

4 Thursday   Pray for 7-year-old Marianny Ibel Salcié in the Dominican Republic as she recovers from a traumatic experience with a mentally disabled neighbor.

5 Friday    Pray for 6-year-old Maitay Biswa in East India as he recovers from a fractured hand.

6 Saturday   Pray for the political situation in Bangladesh. The staff, their families, all Compassion-assisted children and their families need God's protection.

7 Sunday    Praise God for our prayer partners. Pray for one another to be strengthened and renewed as we pray for Compassion-assisted children around the world.

8 Monday   Pray for 11-year-old Michel in Brazil. His uncle is using him to traffic drugs, and the boy needs to be rescued from this illegal activity. Project workers are mentoring Michel.

9 Tuesday    Pray for 11-year-old Puli Sirisha in India who has a hole in her heart that requires treatment.

10 Wednesday   Pray again for our Mexico staff as they cope with outside child abuse concerns. The children need God's protection and safety.

11 Thursday    Pray for 7-year-old Jotsna Chalak in East India. She has a tumor that requires treatment.

12 Friday   Nine-year-old Anandhi in India is recovering slowly from open heart surgery. Pray for a quick return to good health.

13 Saturday    Eight-year-old Yameogo Jean in Burkina Faso struggles with heart problems. He is receiving medical treatment and needs prayer.

14 Sunday   We praise God for healing Piya Biswas in India from nephritis (inflammation of the kidneys). Pray for the return of strength.

15 Monday    Pray for the family of 5-year-old Adrian Ricardo Santos in Brazil. His mother suffers from a genetic degenerative disease and his father is in jail. They need God's loving care and provision.

16 Tuesday   Pray for 6-year-old Oscar David Elvir Ordonez in Honduras as he struggles with leukemia.   

17 Wednesday    YouthPartnersNET, our urban outreach based in Denver, Colorado, requests prayer for the children, youth and families they serve. They have many needs.

18 Thursday    Pray for 15-year-old Latha in India who struggles with illness that affects her studies.

19 Friday    Our Mexico staff asks prayer as they adjust to a new president. Pray that Compassion's work will continue to be protected.

20 Saturday    Pray for the Lord's intervention for the housing of families in a certain part of India who live in slums and close to the seashore.

21 Sunday   Praise God for the report of 600 new children registered in Bangladesh. Pray for them.

22 Monday   Ten-year-old Sawadogo Pascaline and Tapsoba Clement in Burkina Faso both suffer from umbilical hernias that require surgery. Pray for good recoveries.

23 Tuesday    Our Brazil staff asks prayer for several boys in a project who have demonstrated very rebellious behavior. Pray for God's wisdom for the project workers who are praying for and counseling them.

24 Wednesday   Pray for 8-year-old Dimpy Kishan and 9-year-old Geetika Balwant in India to recover from typhoid.

25 Thursday  Thirteen-year-old Uttam Ghorai in East India wants to enter the ministry when he finishes school. Pray he will be faithful to his calling and obedient to God. 

26 Friday   Pray for 8-year-old Yameogo Jean in Burkina Faso who struggles with heart problems.

27 Saturday   Several Leadership Development Program (LDP) students in India are experiencing health or family problems. Pray for God's mercy.

28 Sunday   Twenty-one mothers in four Child Survival Programs (CSPs) in India are due to deliver their babies this month. 29 Monday   Pray for God's guidance as our Burkina Faso staff seeks growth in other cities.

30 Tuesday   Pray for the children and families who were affected by the typhoon in the Philippines last month.

31 Wednesday   Pray for 13-year-old Preetu Gaur in India. She suffers from heart problems.
