Saturday 1 Pray for the families of six children as they rebuild their homes in one area of India that was struck by heavy rains and wind.
Sunday 2 We praise God for the improvement in 9-year-old Pablo Tapia Toalombo in Ecuador, who is in treatment for leukemia. Doctors believe his chances of total healing are excellent. Pray for his continued daily strength.
Monday 3 Pray again for 8-year-old Suvo Rahman in Bangladesh who is improving but still needs healing from the hepatitis B virus.
Tuesday 4 Thirteen-year-old Rohan Mali in eastern India needs prayer for healing of kidney and bone diseases.
Wednesday 5 Pray for 6-year-old Rafael Sumeisey in Indonesia. A tumor was discovered in his left foot and he needs treatment for healing.
Thursday 6 Pray for 10-year-old Abijuru Beni in Rwanda as he recovers from heart surgery performed in a specialized cardiac center in India.
Friday 7 Pray for the families of 85 Compassion-assisted children in the Dominican Republic as they recover from serious damage from Tropical Storm Noel. Some homes were totally destroyed.
Saturday 8 Three children in India lost their mother in an accidental fire. They are Vikky, 14, Shalini, 11, and Akash, 8. Pray for God's love and provision.
Sunday 9 Praise God for healing Endalekachew in Ethiopia and William in Uganda. Both are Leadership Development Program (LDP) students who were sick and we prayed for them.
Monday 10 Pray for 11-year-old E Sankara Sundari in India as she recovers from thoracic surgery.
Tuesday 11 Nine-year-old Michael Odhiambo Oyier in Kenya is in treatment for sickle cell anemia. Pray for his improved health to allow him to return to school.
Wednesday 12 Pray for 11-year-old Kajal Kureel in India, who suffers from a heart problem. She needs healing.
Thursday 13 Pray for 10-year-old Marjorie in Ecuador to recover well from surgery to correct her spinal column, and return to school quickly.
Friday 14 Pray for 10-year-old Palivela Raniiyothi and her family in India as they mourn the death of her father who was hit by a Jeep and died instantly.
Saturday 15 Pray for the son of Fred Lynch, a volunteer in YouthPartnersNET, an urban youth ministry based in Denver. He needs strength in his recovery from meningitis and pneumonia.
Sunday 16 We prayed last month for 6-year-old Agnesius Hasdak in Bangladesh to recover from a coma caused by brain damage and infection. He now is conscious and improving. Praise God.
Monday 17 Pray for the family of 6-year-old Muskan in India. Her father consumes alcohol and keeps the family in turmoil. Pray for his salvation and peace.
Tuesday 18 Pray for Griffin Mongi, a child in Indonesia, who needs treatment for corrective surgery.
Wednesday 19 Twelve-year-old Kamal Sardar in eastern India has typhoid. He needs prayer for healing.
Thursday 20 Pray for the revision and design of our LDP curriculum and mentoring handbook for our university students. God's wisdom is needed.
Friday 21 Pray for the father of 16-year-old M Priyanka in India to get a permit to drive an auto rickshaw. This will improve the financial support of his family.
Saturday 22 We praise God for the successful start-up of LDP training in Honduras. Pray for wisdom to select the students who qualify for university studies.
Sunday 23 We praise God for a good report on the child Victor Matindas in Indonesia. Suspected heart problems were actually typhus, and he has recovered.
Monday 24 Pray for children around the world to hear about the birth of Jesus and His love for them.
Tuesday 25 MERRY CHRISTMAS to all. May God's blessings rest upon all our prayer partners, families and friends.
Wednesday 26 Pray for the urban youth ministry Destiny Project in YouthPartnersNET to have clear direction from God in its continued efforts to minister to needy children in the United States.
Thursday 27 Pray for continued success of the LDP in Rwanda, our new start-up for university students.
Friday 28 Pray for two children in India whose mother left the home. They are Ashish and Arti, and they need God's mercy and protection.
Saturday 29 Pray for the parents, family and friends of 5-year-old Mary Peter in Kenya. She was registered in Compassion's program but not yet sponsored when she died unexpectedly.
Sunday 30 Pray for the pastors in churches today to be inspired by God's Word as they encourage their church bodies to a deeper commitment to the One who loves us more than anyone else in the world.
Monday 31 Pray for one another as we end 2007, thanking the Lord for His blessings during the past year, and looking forward to a new year of opportunities to serve Him as He leads us.
