Wednesday 1 Fifteen-year-old Raice Ali in India was admitted to ICU in critical condition with a tumor on his spine. Pray for a miraculous recovery.

Thursday 2  Pray for 8-year-old Lucero in Peru, who was scheduled for a biopsy for a tumor on her knee.

Friday 3  Luis Fernando Ferreira da Costa, a 16-year-old in Brazil was shot in the head. If he survives, he will suffer much damage. Pray for God's healing.

Saturday 4  Pray for our staff in Ecuador as they seek another location that will help to better serve the children.

Sunday 5   We praise God for the return of 10-year-old Yulian in Indonesia. He is an autistic child who disappeared. He was found and is safely back home.

Monday 6   Pray for 14-year-old Agnes Uwera in Rwanda, who is undergoing chemotherapy for leukemia.

Tuesday 7   Pray for 15-year-old S. Saravamoorthy in India, who accidentally injured his eye. He had surgery, and needs a miracle to restore his eyesight.

Wednesday 8   Pray for 13-year-old Mantu Ahir in India and his family as they mourn the sudden death of his father from a heart attack.

Thursday 9  Pray for peace and safety for the children, families and our Kenya staff as they cope with gang activity near several Compassion child centers.

Friday 10  In 2007, 232 parents or guardians of children in Tanzania have died, probably from complications related to AIDS. Pray for the children who face uncertain futures.

Saturday 11  Nine-year-old Rupendra Kandi in eastern India suffers from an eye problem that requires surgery. Pray for a quick recovery and no loss of vision.

Sunday 12  Pray for our new Bangladesh country director, Kajal K. Sengupta, as he assumes the position of overseeing our child development centers.                                                              

Monday 13  Pray for a good recovery for 20-year-old Dukundane Rehema in Rwanda from surgery to remove uterine fibroids. She needs strength.

Tuesday 14  Fifteen-year-old Mahendra Raj Madasamy in India fell from a 50-foot palm tree and suffered fractures of both legs and arms. Pray for his recovery.

Wednesday 15   Pray for God's protection of our staff, their families, the children and their families in Bangladesh in the current political situation.

Thursday 16  Novri Marthin in Indonesia was diagnosed with a brain tumor, and his family refuses to continue medical treatment. He is trusting Jesus to heal him and asks prayer for a miracle.  

Friday 17  Pray for children and their families in Tanzania where malaria is claiming many lives. Pray that God will protect the vulnerable.

Saturday 18   Sixteen-year-old Sarathkumar in India suffered severe damage to his eyes in an accident and needs an eye transplant. Pray for his healing.

Sunday 19   We praise God for Sheela K, a Leadership Development Program (LDP) student in India, who earned five medals as the top graduate in her college.

Monday 20  Pray for two children in Bangladesh, Anjan Shill and Shouvro Roy, who suffer from heart disease.

Tuesday 21  Pray for the healing of 14-year-old Diah Fitriani in Indonesia, who was diagnosed with typhoid. She was medically treated and now is resting.

Wednesday 22   Pray for 8-year-old Asema Monica in India as she copes with her critically ill mother who suffers from bone tuberculosis. The family needs peace.

Thursday 23   Pray for 7-year-old Enrico Durant in Indonesia, who is grieving the passing of his mother. His father died earlier and he now is an orphan.

Friday 24  Pray for the families of Alfredo Garcia and 8-year-old Rosalia Eguivar in Bolivia, who drowned in a boating accident. Alfredo was the director of a Compassion child development center, and the children and grieving families were deeply affected.

Saturday 25  Praise God for our prayer partners and the commitment to pray for children and families around the world. Pray for strength, for provision and peace of mind for each one.

Sunday 26   Our staff in Indonesia reports that by the grace of God, all the activities and programs in June 2007 have been done well. We praise God with them.

Monday 27  Pray for 10-year-old Michael Nikiema in Burkina Faso, who suffered stomach pains, and doctors recommended surgery. Pray for a quick recovery.

Tuesday 28  Pray for 10-year-old Sumon Saha in eastern India, who was diagnosed with an advanced stage of leukemia and is in treatment

Wednesday 29  Pray for two young children in eastern India who suffer chest pain. They are Subrata Ghosh and Payel Haldar.

Thursday 30  Eight-year-old Kanazo Sephora in Burkina Faso struggles with malformation of her feet and cannot walk well. Pray for successful medical treatment.

Friday 31  Pray for 9-year-old Fida Tri Santiyo Sugiarto in Bolivia, who suffered with dengue fever. She is recovering and needs renewed strength.
