Rubén started his first job when he was 5 and wasn't able to attend school. Now, because of the support of his sponsor, he is able to go to school and have his supplies and fees covered. He is determined that his younger siblings will have a childhood free of work.
Compassion Philippines Child Sponsorship Program graduates joined together to form the first Compassion Alumni Association. They now sponsor their own children through Compassion Philippines, and work to find more sponsors throughout the Philippines.
Flor was painfully shy and cried often. The one thing that stopped her tears was the support and love of her sponsor. Their relationship lead to Flor being inspired to pursue missions.
