Singer/songwriter Danny Oertli became involved with Compassion in large part through the influence of his wife, Cyndi. When she died unexpectedly in 2002, he says he was made more aware than ever of the importance of doing things that "make a difference for all eternity."
Formerly sponsored child Javier Villca attends university in Cochabamba, Bolivia, through Compassion's Leadership Development Program. This motivated young man believes his Compassion sponsor, Dennis, has played an important role in his achievements as a student and artist during the last decade.
Music artist Geoff Moore has partnered with Compassion for nearly 18 years. He says his relationship with the ministry has given him opportunities to learn much about himself, the world and God's unconditional love.
