On May 27, a large earthquake registering 5.9 on the Richter scale rocked the country of Indonesia in the Central Java Province. Two of Compassion's projects (IO-746 and IO-776) are located in the earthquake zone, and Compassion's Indonesia staff are working to assess the damage and locate Compassion-assisted children and their families.

Please pray for the safety and comfort of the children and families who were affected by the earthquake. Pray also for the safety of our staff as they assess the situation.
