Advisory: Bomb Blasts in Tanzania

Recently, a series of more than 100 bomb explosions rocked Mbagala Kizuiana in Dar-es Salaam, Tanzania.

The latest reports indicate that 25 people died, more than 300 were injured, and over 3,500 lost their homes in the explosions.

The Tanzanian government has arranged temporary shelters as well as food and water for those who lost their homes.

Compassion does not have any child development centers in Dar-es Salaam and the closest center is more than 100 kilometers away.

No Compassion-assisted children were affected.

Please pray for the victims of the explosions as they work with the government to recover from this accident. Pray that God will provide for their needs and keep them from fear or anxiety.

Compassion Tanzania will keep us updated as more information is available.

Compassion International will contact you if your sponsored child has been affected.
