Compassion-sponsored children have access to education, medical care, nutritious food and knowledge of the love of Jesus. They have been so blessed that many of them pray for their sponsors every day. Yet the children need prayer, too.

The following are prayer requests from the Thailand Country Office about the children, families, church partners and staff in Thailand: 

• Please pray for the Lord's protection over our children, families and staff as the H1N1 virus has been spreading throughout Thailand. Pray for those who are sick, that they will be restored to health.
• Please pray for the many young girls in Thailand who are influenced and persuaded to make money for their family through prostitution. Pray that the Lord will surround these girls with women who can mentor them and show them their worth in Jesus.
• Pray for the thousands of children in Thailand who are being affected by the HIV/AIDS pandemic. Pray especially for those homes broken by this devastating disease.
