Compassion-sponsored children have access to education, medical care, nutritious food and knowledge of the love of Jesus. They have been so blessed that many of them pray for their sponsors every day. Yet the children need prayer, too.

The following are prayer requests from the Togo Country Office about the children, families, church partners and staff in Togo: 

• Please pray for the children as they grow and mature into adults. Pray their hearts and minds will be filled with the knowledge of the Lord's love and that they will become men and women who serve Him.
• Please pray for mothers and fathers who will not register their children in the Compassion-assisted child development center because of religious differences. Pray the Lord will use the staff to soften the hearts of the families and open their eyes to the grace of the Lord.
• Pray for the children growing up in extreme poverty. Pray they will come to know God and find steady hope in Him as they learn of His love and mercy.
• Pray for the children to witness the faithfulness of the Lord through being sponsored.
