Compassion-sponsored children have access to educational opportunities, medical care, nutritious food and knowledge of the love of Jesus. The children have been so blessed that many of them pray for their sponsors every day. Yet the children need prayer, too.

The following are prayer requests from the Indonesia Country Office about the children, families, church partners and staff in Indonesia:

• Please pray for children and families that have been affected by the recent earthquake. Please pray that those affected will find comfort in God.
• Please pray for the Lord's provision over children and families as they endure the rainy season.
• Please pray that God would protect the children at the child development centers in Nafri and that the tribes involved in the fighting would reach a peaceful agreement soon
• that the Lord will bless the church partners so they may continue doing good work for the children
• for the emotional, physical and spiritual health of the sick and traumatized children in Compassion-assisted centers and for all children suffering similarly throughout the country
