Compassion-sponsored children have access to educational opportunities, medical care, nutritious food and knowledge of the love of Jesus. The children have been so blessed that many of them pray for their sponsors every day. Yet the children need prayer, too.

The following are prayer requests from the Indonesia Country Office about the children, families, church partners and staff in Indonesia:

• Please pray for protection over our children and their families as tribal fighting has broken out in eastern Indonesia. May the Lord's justice be sought and peace be established.
• Please pray for the Lord to provide for the children and families affected by the recent earthquake. Pray for those who lost loved ones, that they will find comfort and hope in the Lord.
• Pray that the Lord will bless the church partners so they may continue doing good work for the children.
• Pray for the emotional, physical and spiritual health of the sick and traumatized children in Compassion-assisted centers and for all children suffering similarly throughout the country.
