Compassion-sponsored children have access to education, medical care, nutritious food and knowledge of the love of Jesus. They have been so blessed that many of them pray for their sponsors every day. Yet the children need prayer, too.

The following are prayer requests from the Haiti Country Office about the children, families, church partners and staff in Haiti: 

• Pray for the government to enact effective and swift measures to address the famine and economic crisis gripping the country.
• Pray for the children, families and child development centers as they face the challenges of this growing global crisis.
• Pray for the health and well-being of Haitians in the remote sections of the country. They are hardest hit by the famine.
