Compassion-sponsored children have access to education, medical care, nutritious food and knowledge of the love of Jesus. They have been so blessed that many of them pray for their sponsors every day. Yet the children need prayer, too.

The following are prayer requests from the Guatemala Country Office about the children, families, church partners and staff in Guatemala:

• Pray for parents who are burdened with not being able to provide for their children. May they be blessed with the resources they need to raise healthy families.
• Pray for the medical needs of children living in poverty in Guatemala. May they come to rely on the Lord and know Him as Healer.
• Pray that the child development center staff in Guatemala will be sensitive to the physical and emotional needs of children registered in their programs.
• Pray that the children will pursue their dreams — and that their lives will be filled with adults who love and support them.
