Compassion-assisted children have access to educational opportunities, medical care, nutritious food and knowledge of the love of Jesus. They have been so blessed that many of them pray for their sponsors every day. Yet the children need prayer, too.

The following are prayer requests from the Ghana Country Office about the children, families, church partners and staff in Ghana:

• Pray for children in Ghana suffering from malaria. Pray their families will use the malaria education they receive.
• Pray that the children of Ghana will no longer believe the lies of poverty — lies that tell them they will never amount to anything.
• Pray for more advocacy action in the area of children's rights, so all the population might understand and respect the integrity of each child.
• Pray for the thousands of orphans living in Ghana - that they will have caregivers and their caregivers will have the resources to meet the holistic needs of these children.
• Pray that the parents of our sponsored children understand what Compassion is about.
