Compassion-assisted children have access to educational opportunities, medical care, nutritious food and knowledge of the love of Jesus. They have been so blessed that many of them pray for their sponsors every day. Yet the children need prayer, too.
The following are prayer requests from the Ghana Country Office about the children, families, church partners and staff in Ghana:
- Please pray for the hearts of parents. May the Lord teach them how to care for and encourage their children. Ask for the Lord to demonstrate His love through the parents.
- Please pray for the Lord to strengthen our children in the power of the Holy Spirit. Pray for God to transform their hearts and minds to be followers of Him.
- Pray for wisdom for the child development center staff members as they bring the hope and love of Jesus to thousands of children in Ghana.
- Pray for children in Ghana suffering from malaria. Pray their families will use the malaria education they receive.
- Pray for the thousands of orphans living in Ghana - that they will have caregivers and their caregivers will have the resources to meet the holistic needs of these children.
