Compassion-sponsored children have access to education, medical care, nutritious food and knowledge of the love of Jesus. They have been so blessed that many of them pray for their sponsors every day. Yet the children need prayer, too.

The following are prayer requests from the Ecuador Country Office about the children, families, church partners and staff in Ecuador:

• Please pray for the children suffering with depression and who do not have hope for their future.  Pray the Lord, in His power, will renew their minds and give them a joy for what He has in store.
• Please pray for the many children who are suffering from health issues. May they and their families lean on the Lord for His merciful provision. Pray they will be fully restored back to health.
• Please pray for God's protection for the children as the crime rate in Ecuador has grown. Pray for the Lord to transform hearts.  
• Pray for the Ecuadorian people so they may recognize Jesus and accept Him as their personal Savior.
