Compassion-sponsored children have access to education, medical care, nutritious food and knowledge of the love of Jesus. They have been so blessed that many of them pray for their sponsors every day. Yet the children need prayer, too.

The following are prayer requests from the Brazil Country Office about the children, families, church partners and staff in Brazil:

• Please pray for the young girls in Brazil who feel the pressure to provide financially for their families. Ask the Lord to grant wisdom to the parents so they will encourage their daughters to become educated and pursue bright futures.
• Please pray on behalf of the children attending child development centers. May God keep them faithful to the program, learning more about His love, and keep them far from the evil that surrounds them in the slums where they live.
• Please pray to the Lord concerning the public health system. Often the poor have to face endless lines at the hospitals. Please pray for the children who lack medical treatment in their communities, that the Lord would provide the medicine and treatment they need.
• Pray for the families of Brazil. May God in His endless love and mercy restore lives, marriages, dreams, and visions of life for the future.
