Compassion-sponsored children have access to educational opportunities, medical care, nutritious food and knowledge of the love of Jesus. The children have been so blessed that many of them pray for their sponsors every day. Yet the children need prayer, too.

The following are prayer requests from the Bangladesh Country Office about the children, families, church partners and staff in Bangladesh:

• Pray for God's provision during the current food and economic crisis. 
  • Pray for the health and well-being of the children, who are receiving just one meal a day, and pray for the family members who aren't blessed with even that.
  • Pray for the farmers.
  • Pray that the government can get the inflation under control.
• Pray for the country's reconstruction efforts in the aftermath of Cyclone Sidr
