Compassion-sponsored children have access to educational opportunities, medical care, nutritious food and knowledge of the love of Jesus. The children have been so blessed that many of them pray for their sponsors every day. Yet the children need prayer, too.

The following are prayer requests from the Bangladesh Country Office about the children, families, church partners and staff in Bangladesh: 

• Please pray for the children and families affected by the recent heavy rains. May the Lord provide for those who lost belongings and the child development center that was flooded.
• Please pray for children who are sick and need medical attention. Pray they will be well taken care of in the hospitals and that the Lord will restore them to health.
• Pray for the safety of the child development staff as they travel to and from the centers. May the Lord protect them and keep them healthy so that they may do the good work He has set before them.
• Pray that the Lord would continue to use the children to make His presence known throughout their communities.
