UPDATE: Oct. 21, 2009 –The flooding that occurred at child development center BD-311 has subsided and normal operations have resumed.

No Compassion-assisted children or their families were affected.

Please continue to pray for the Lord's protection against disease. Also pray for the Lord's provision as the child development center recovers.

Oct. 7, 2009 - Heavy rains and blocked water drainage have flooded Compassion-assisted child development center BD-311 in Bangladesh.

The center is operating normally, although some regular activities cannot take place due to standing water.
