  • How far is it from your child's home to the school? 
  • What is the weekly school schedule? What days of the week does the school meet? What hours of the day does the school operate?

FUTURE PLANS

  • Is your child interested in continuing his/her formal education beyond secondary school? If so, what field(s) does your child want to study? 
  • If your child could choose any career as an adult, what would it be? 
  • Does your child want to get married some day? 
  • Does your child want to have a family some day? 
  • What other goals and aspirations does your child have? Ask your child to explain them.

COUNTRY/CULTURE

  • What are the common means of transportation in your child's country? Ask your child to describe them. 
  • What are the natural resources in your child's country? Ask your child to describe them. 
  • What does the national flag for your child's country look like? Ask your child to draw and color it.
  • What is the national anthem for your child's country?

PRAYER REQUESTS

Encourage your child to share prayer requests with you. Examples of appropriate prayer requests include:

  • Physical needs of child or person close to child
  • Employment needs of person close to child
  • Spiritual needs of child or person close to child
  • Child's success in academic (exams) or athletic contests, etc.
