In the five years that Compassion-assisted child Jorge Barroso has been taking karate lessons from Compassion tutor, Francisco de Melo, he has risen to the highest level, black belt. At just 15, he has won 22 contests and is ranked third in Brazil.

Compassion is giving 15-year-old Jorge Barroso the skills to succeed. In the five years that Jorge has been taking lessons from Francisco de Melo (left), a tutor and karate champion at Jorge's Compassion student center, he has risen to the highest level, black belt, has won 22 contests and is ranked third in Brazil.
