Felekech lives with her stepfather and her mother. She is responsible for washing clothes, helping in the kitchen and cleaning. Her stepfather is sometimes employed and her mother is sometimes employed. There are 4 children in the family.

As part of Compassion's ministry, Felekech participates in church activities and youth group. She is also in primary school where her performance is average. Ping pong and jumping rope are her favorite activities.
