Prince makes his home with his father and his mother. Buying or selling in the market and running errands are his household duties. His father is sometimes employed as a laborer and his mother maintains the home. There are 3 children in the family.
Art, walking and hide-and-seek are Prince's favorite activities. In pre-school his performance is average and he also regularly attends church activities and Vacation Bible School.

Prince lives on the plains of Govind Town, home to approximately 30,000 residents. Typical houses are constructed of dirt floors, tin or brick walls and tin roofs. The primary ethnic groups are Kumad, Pal, Gujjar and Dalits.
The regional diet consists of beans, rice and wheat. Common health problems in this area include malnutrition, diarrhea, malaria, tuberculosis and waterborne diseases. Most adults work as day laborers or in factories and earn the equivalent of $70 per month. This community needs safe drinking water, income-generating programs and employment opportunities.
Your sponsorship allows the staff of ART Pragathi Child Development Center to provide Prince with Bible classes, nutrition and hygiene education, nutritious food, health screenings, special celebrations, sports, cultural activities, school supplies, educational materials, tutoring and vocational training. The center staff will also provide meetings and counseling for the parents or guardians of Prince.

India's diverse economy encompasses traditional village farming, modern agriculture, handicrafts, a wide range of modern industries, and a multitude of services. The country has capitalized on its large numbers of well-educated people skilled in the English language to become a major exporter of software services and workers.
