Prudhvi lives with his father and his mother. He is responsible for carrying water, buying or selling in the market and washing clothes. His father is employed as a laborer and his mother maintains the home. There are 2 children in the family.
Volleyball, singing and art are Prudhvi's favorite activities. In vocational training his performance is average and he also regularly attends church activities, Bible class and Vacation Bible School.

The regional diet consists of bananas, vegetables, dhal (lentils) and rice. Common health problems in this area include viral fevers, malaria, jaundice and coughs. Most adults work as day laborers and earn the equivalent of $50 per month. These communities have electricity and water but need proper sanitation, educational materials and health facilities.
Your sponsorship allows the staff of Salvation Army Child Development Center to provide Prudhvi with Bible teaching, health screenings, hygiene and health education, nutritious food, sports competitions, community service opportunities, tutoring and vocational guidance. The center staff will also provide skills training for the parents or guardians of Prudhvi.
