Become a Volunteer

You do not have to travel to the other side of the world to fight poverty. Did you know there is a very practical way you can make a difference right here? Become a volunteer for Compassion and you will be equipped with everthing you need to start speaking up on behalf of children in poverty around the world. When you become a volunteer, you join a passionate and dedicated team of people who are working together to change the world.

When you join Compassion's Advocate Network and become a volunteer, you join a huge network of people who are all working together to spread the word about Compassion's ministry. Compassion's Advocate Network often feels more like a family, and offers you the unique chance to be a part of something much bigger than yourself.

Don't worry if you are unsure of where to start. Become a volunteer and you will receive extensive training, loads of advocacy materials (fact sheets, videos, posters, etc.) and many other resources to equip you to effectively tell others how they can change the life of a child in poverty. You will also have access to Christian events where Compassion is being presented as well as special trips to the field to witness Compassion's ministry firsthand.

Most importantly, when you become a volunteer and begin to speak up for children in poverty, you obey God's mandate to speak for "the least of these." A chance to honor God with your life is perhaps the greatest opportunity of all.
