David Dahlin, Executive Vice President for Compassion International, is responsible for developing and supervising all aspects of the ministry's operations, as well as managing the Global Executive Leadership Team.
David has served at Compassion since 1994 in a variety of leadership roles, including Sr. Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.
David studied theology at Luther Northwestern Theological Seminary and earned a master's degree in psychology from The College of St. Thomas.
David is focused on personal and organizational effectiveness and has specialized in guiding individuals and teams through change processes that will help them better reach their goals.
His gifts of communication, facilitation and administration are well suited for his current responsibilities and he is deeply committed to Compassion's mission to release children from poverty in Jesus' name. David and his wife Kari have two children, Mikelle and Seth.
