Child Survival Program
Each day, poverty kills nearly 27,000 children younger than 5. Compassion's Child Survival Program works to prevent such deaths, saving infants and instructing new mothers on how to care for their children so they can survive and live healthy lives. Child Development Sponsorship Program
Children in Compassion's Child Development Sponsorship Program receive spiritual, educational and health training as well as nutritious food and critical medical care. Children receive these benefits through local churches that partner with Compassion. This church-based program has led nearly 132,000 children a year* to Christ. Leadership Development Program
Corrupt leaders have stalled the progress of more nations than almost any other factor. That's why Compassion began its Leadership Development Program in 1996. Currently, more than 2,000 Compassion graduates are pursuing college degrees while receiving Christian leadership training. Our hope? Global AIDS Outreach
Every 14 seconds a child is orphaned by AIDS. More than 2.3 million children are HIV-positive.
