The Great Commission seeks one world changed for Christ. At Compassion, we match one child and one sponsor with one church to achieve that goal. Through Compassion's Child Sponsorship Program, children receive what they need to grow to be fulfilled Christian adults, including:
- nutritious food
- educational opportunities
- medical checkups
- the opportunity to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ
Our program benefits are administered by Compassion church partners all over the world. Currently, more 4,500 churches serve more than 1 million children in 25 developing countries, thanks to Compassion sponsors.
Your church can partner with the Child Sponsorship Program by:
- promoting sponsorship by hosting a Compassion Sunday
- sponsoring children in the same country
- supporting the start-up costs for a new church partner
