"My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me."

Compassion-sponsored children have access to educational opportunities, medical care, nutritious food and knowledge of the love of Jesus. The children have been so blessed that many of them pray for their sponsors every day. Yet the children need prayer, too.
The following are prayer requests from the Indonesia Country Office about the children, families, church partners and staff in Indonesia:
- Please pray for the people who live in the area where rioting broke out. Pray for the Lord to raise up godly leaders that they may bring peace.
- Please pray for the children and families whose homes are flooded due to a river overflowing. Pray for the Lord to protect and provide for them in their need.
- Please pray for the children as they attend the child development center. Pray their hearts are softenend so that they may understand and believe in God's love for them.
- Pray that the Lord will bless the church partners so they may continue doing good work for the children.
