"My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me."
John 17:20-21
Compassion-sponsored children have access to educational opportunities, medical care, nutritious food and knowledge of the love of Jesus. The children have been so blessed that many of them pray for their sponsors every day. Yet the children need prayer, too.
The following are prayer requests from the Bangladesh Country Office about the children, families, church partners and staff in Bangladesh:
- Please pray for God’s provision for the children and families whose homes have been flooded due to the recent heavy rains.
- Please pray for the many children who encounter medical problems due to living in poverty. May the Lord restore them to health and allow them to continue to experience the joy of being a child.
- Pray for the love of the Lord to be demonstrated through the many different relationships that affect children with their families, siblings, friends and the staff.
