Kid’s devotions are a helpful way to encourage children to spend time with God each day. Kids love to talk to their friends, spend time with them, share secrets together, and help when one is sad. God wants to be their friend too. John 15:15 says, “I do not call you servants anymore. Servants do not know their master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends. I have told you everything I learned from my Father.”
When kids spend time with God in prayer and reading His Word, they get to know Him and His love for them. Kids’ devotions are a practical way to support your children’s quiet time with God. They will learn directly from God’s Word and also discover how to apply those truths to their lives.
Kids’ devotions are also a great tool for family devotions. A family can meet together regularly to pray for one another, read God’s Word, and read the devotion. Family devotions are a great way to stay connected!
As parents, our desire is to raise children who use prayer and God’s Word as their guide for life. Kids’ devotions are a great place to start!
