This past summer, several of the children we serve around the world were affected by disasters such as floods and heavy rains.
As you pray for children, will you lift up their safety? Will you pray that they find peace in times of turmoil? And pray that they will continue to find comfort from the true Prince of Peace.
October 2011 Prayer Calendar
Verse of the Month
"Praise the LORD, my soul, and forget not all his benefits — who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion."
Psalm 103:2-4, NIV

As we enter Compassion’s 60th year this month, pray that we would all be faithful to the legacy of Christ-centered integrity established by those on whose shoulders we stand. Pray that we, in turn, will build upon that legacy by trusting God, working wisely, and serving even more effectively to release many millions of children from poverty in the years ahead.
