For the first time ever, we have partnered up with the Christian band, Kutless, on a Sponsor Tour! We invite you to join band members Jon Micah, James, Nick, Dave and Jeff as we experience Ecuador like never before.
Our adventure will take us to the Esmeraldas Province in northwestern Ecuador. Together, we'll minister to children in need, young moms and their babies, as well as college students. We believe you'll fall in love with these people, the churches we'll visit, and have a real encounter with Jesus --who has a plan and purpose to reveal to us all. Of course, you will spend a whole day with your sponsored child, having fun together at a beach resort in the area.
We'll also enjoy some R & R at the beautiful Termas de Papallacta Natural Hot Springs Spa and Resort just outside Quito, Ecuador. In addition, included in the tour price is a credit of $250 for the activity of your choice during your relaxation time. This trip is sure to be the experience of a lifetime.
Register now for this special opportunity --spaces will fill quickly!
Day 1: Our Journey Begins!
Monday, Aug. 22: We'll travel together from Miami to Quito, Ecuador.
Day 2: Expand Your Heart
Tuesday, Aug. 23: Today will be our first day of ministry together as we visit a Compassion center. You'll see and experience the realities of poverty. And you'll see how Compassion is releasing children from poverty and offering hope. Our ministry time will be spent sharing love with kids, playing games, worshiping, and encouraging children with the Word. We also may be called upon to serve together on a service project like cleaning or painting. In the evening, we'll enjoy dinner and a private worship set with Kutless.
Days 3-5: Our Adventure in Esmeraldas Province
Wednesday-Friday, Aug. 24-26: This morning we will fly together to Esmeraldas Province in northwestern Ecuador. Over the next three days, we will minister to children and families in the region. This will be a real adventure! One village where a Compassion center is located requires a two-hour drive and a canoe trip to reach. We'll have another intimate time of worship in Esmeraldas. Surely, the reason why you came to Ecuador is to meet your child! You will get to spend a half-day playing on the beach making memories you and your child will remember forever. Once back in Quito we'll have a celebration dinner together at a beautiful restaurant overlooking colonial Quito.
Days 6-8: A Retreat With Kutless!
Saturday-Monday, Aug. 27-29: Get ready for rest and relaxation in one of the most beautiful areas of Ecuador! We'll travel with the band to the Termas de Papallacta Natural Hot Springs Resort and Spa and spend two nights and three days enjoying the beauty of the country. The more adventurous souls may choose from horseback riding, mountain biking and white-water rafting. Or you can simply relax and enjoy the spa. Whatever you decide to do this day, keep in mind that you have an included credit of $250 to use for activities.
Day 9: Travel Back to the United States
Tuesday, Aug. 30: Today we return to Miami on an early morning flight from Quito, and reflect on our amazing trip.
