Were you aware that you could join Compassion International on a fully guided tour to Dominican Republic, to visit your own sponsored child and visit their beautiful country?
Well it’s true, and it’s here, just for you.
Compassion has been serving in Dominican Republic for over 40 years. This tour is packed full of unforgettable moments. Dominican Republic has the full list of Compassion’s programs, from the Child Survival Program (CSP) – assisting mothers and babies; the Child Development through Sponsorship Program (CDSP) – one on one sponsorship with young children; and the Leadership Development Program (LDP) – one on one sponsorship with college students who are being raised up to become leaders in their country. The Complementary Interventions (CIV) activities, which address critical needs and work alongside the core programs, also benefit the children of Dominican Republic.
During our tour we will visit and experience the centers just like the one your sponsored child attends, where the Compassion children receive the help, support and love they need to grow up to be successful and fulfilled adults.
We will visit homes and be blessed by hearing the hearts of the caregivers and the families of sponsored children. Children of all ages will share their testimonies and inspire us!
The opportunity to spend a full day with your sponsored child, playing, getting to know one another, and creating lasting memories together; will undoubtedly be a highlight of this tour.
We will also meet some of our dedicated staff in Dominican Republic, who make your sponsorship and the help of many children possible every day.
You will certainly grow to love the country, the culture and the people.
Please prayerfully consider joining us today!

Compassion constantly monitors the safety of our destination countries and will make any adjustments necessary to protect our tour participants, sponsored children and in-country staff. We believe it is important to provide safe, comfortable accommodations, traditional meals and reliable transportation so that your focus can be on what God is teaching you and the impact of the experience rather than concern for your personal safety and well-being.
