One of the Caribbean’s more obscure locales, the Dominican Republic is a big country with spectacularly varied scenery. Majestic mountains, white sandy beaches, and the region’s oldest, most cosmopolitan city (Santo Domingo) will delight you. As true as that is, it is the beauty of her people and the faces of her present and future hope ▬ her children that will capture your heart.
A shorter length tour allows you to learn everything you ever hoped to know about Compassion and each program we have implemented, in just a few days. It is strategically planned over the weekend for those of you who don’t have enough time off of work for a standard length tour.
Have you wondered how your monthly sponsorship really impacts a child and if that impact is sustainable over time? Do you wonder if the letters you write mean anything and for that matter if you really matter to the child pictured in the photo on your refrigerator? A sponsor tour to the Dominican Republic will forever answer these questions and many more. Nothing can prepare you for that moment when your eyes meet for the first time and that final hug that requires no translation. In that moment you will say, it was worth every penny and every inconvenience – I am changed.
Our adventure will take us to see several different child development centers, like the one your child attends and will provide wonderful opportunities to provide the ministry of hope, encouragement and practical service along the way. Being in close proximity to the ocean, we’ll take some time to enjoy that as well. So make plans now to visit this beautiful Caribbean country known for its beauty and tranquility of a country you are sure to love, The Dominican Republic! This tour will likely fill up very quickly, so don’t delay. Register today!
