We praise God for the tremendous support Compassion's church partners in the Dominican Republic have offered to the churches and the people in Haiti. Since the earthquake hit Haiti, the Dominican churches have continually sent help!
Pray for peace and comfort for Mirko, 6, in Peru, whose mother recently succumbed to cancer.
Pray for the family of 9-year-old Yosua in eastern Indonesia. The boy died of injuries from an accident. Please keep his sponsor in your prayers as well.
Please pray for the Lord to bless the child development centers in Togo. May these centers become known by their communities as places of love and opportunity.
Pray for comfort and strength for the family of Compassion contractor David Hames. He lost his life while on assignment shooting video of Child Survival Programs in Haiti when the earthquake struck on Jan. 12.
Please pray for a speedy recovery for Natanael, 9, in eastern Indonesia, who was hit by a motorcycle and injured.
Pray for Samanta and her siblings in Ecuador, whose mother passed away three months ago from cancer. Their father killed himself a month later because he felt guilty for his wife's death.

We praise God for protecting the 26 Compassion children and their families from the fire that destroyed their village in Bangladesh. They were on the center's annual picnic when the fire swept through their village! Pray for those who lost their homes.

Pray for the children from seven Compassion child development centers in the Kongwa and Mpwapwa districts of Tanzania, whose homes were damaged or destroyed by flooding.

Please continue to pray for healing and strength for the Haiti Compassion staff members who, in spite of personal losses, are working hard to account for and serve the children, families and church partners affected by the quake.
