Sr. Vice President of Solution Design & Deployment
Jeff's call to ministry in Christian organizations began in high school. Jeff has been professionally involved in Christian ministry since the early 1980's and has a real sense of the needs of God's people. His first ministry experience was with Christian Service Brigade, Inc., where he served as chief administrative officer and treasurer. Jeff joined Compassion International in 1989, serving as accounting director. Since that time he has also played leadership roles in Information Technology, Corporate Planning, Corporate Project Management, the Global Strategy Office, and Ministry Services.
As Senior Vice President of Solution Design & Deployment, Jeff is currently overseeing an initiative to innovate Compassion’s global core processes and apply effective technology while replacing ineffective systems to enable future ministry goals. Jeff has a proven history of leading these types of broad-reaching organizational change initiatives. In 2005, Jeff led the ministry through a project that was implemented to determine how Compassion should innovate to keep up with double-digit growth and the diversification in multiple ministries. From 1994 to 1999 Jeff also led Compassion's Information Technology division to develop the organization’s first major integrated computer application.
In addition to his professional ministry involvement, Jeff has been deeply involved in the leadership of the two churches that he has attended over the last three decades. In Wheaton, Illinois he actively served at First Baptist Church of Wheaton on the Board of Trustees, including two terms as chairman. After moving to Colorado Springs over 20 years ago, Jeff has been active in Front Range Alliance Church, where he served on the Governing Board of Elders as Church Treasurer for more than 15 years.
Jeff has a wide realm of educational experience, beginning at Wheaton College where he received his B.A in Economics in 1979. Since that time he has continued his education in accounting, business and information technology with courses from Elmhurst College, DePaul University, and Keller Graduate School. Jeff has also attended project management classes at Stanford University and received his SCPM (Stanford Certified Project Manager) certification. He and his wife, Carol, have three children.
