Regional Vice President of the Asia Area
Dr. Bambang Budijanto began his service with Compassion International as the Indonesia Country Director and served as the Asia Area Director before becoming the Regional Vice President for Asia.
He was the founder and executive director of the Pesat Foundation in Indonesia from 1987 to 1997 and was the founder and director of the Institute for Community and Development Studies from 1997 to 1999. He currently serves on the boards of the Pesat Foundation, the Institute for Community and Development Studies, the Oxford Centre for Mission Studies, and the Consortium for Graduate Programs in Christian Studies (CCS).
Bambang received his Ph.D from the Oxford Centre for Mission Studies and the University of Wales.
