Heavy rains caused flooding in Ghana during the last two weeks of April.

The families of eight children from Triumphal Child Development Centre (GH-410) in Gomoa Denkyira were affected by heavy rains on April 19. One child was injured, but received medical treatment and has recovered. The homes of the other affected children were damaged, and the families have temporarily relocated. The families of four children from Bobikuma Pentecost Child Development Centre (GH-931) in Agona Bobikuma were affected when heavy rains occurred on April 28. These families’ homes were damaged, and the families have temporarily relocated. The Compassion centers have provided relief items to the affected families.

Please pray for the families in these two communities. Please continue to lift up in prayer all of our Compassion-assisted families in Ghana.

Compassion Ghana will keep us updated as more information is available.
