UPDATE: May 14, 2010 - The flooding in Granada, due to the heavy rains, has receded.

The two affected child development centers provided Compassion-assisted children with basic supplies such as food, shoes and notebooks.

All the affected children are going through a medical exam to prevent infections from contaminated water.

Please pray for those families who have lost homes and belongings in the flooding. Pray for any children that might be sick, that the Lord will restore them to health.

Compassion Colombia will keep us updated as more information is available.

Compassion International will contact you if your sponsored child has been affected.
