Central Mexico has experienced two weeks of continuous rain resulting from Hurricane Carlotta. On June 24, 2012, the Atoyac River overflowed into the community of San Martin Texmelucan. At least 250 homes in the community were flooded. The facilities hosting ME-741 and ME-785 are located near the Atoyac River. Currently, 9 children attending ME-741 and ME-785 have been affected. The homes of these children have been damaged and these families have lost personal belongings. Please pray for those who have had their homes damaged by the flooding. Please ask the Lord to protect our beneficiaries in San Martin Texmelucan. Compassion Mexico will keep us updated as more information is available. Summary: Flooding has occurred in central Mexico because of Hurricane Carlotta.
