Heavy rains caused flooding in the Darjeeling and Jalpaiguri districts of India on July 16, 2012.

The cities of Siliguri and Jalpaiguri were impacted by the flooding when the Teesta and Mahananda Rivers began to overflow. Currently, no Compassion-assisted families are affected.

Please pray for the communities that have been affected by this flooding situation. Continue to pray for the Lord’s protection and care of our Compassion children who live in North Bengal area of India.

Compassion East India will keep us updated as more information is available.
