Advisory: Flooding in Colombia

In mid-December the Cauca River overflowed into the community of Sieta de Agosto, Colombia.

So far, the homes of 30 children from Compassion-assisted center CO-423 have been damaged. These families have lost household belongings, clothing and school items.

The affected families have been relocated to temporary shelters, and church members have provided food, clothing and supplies.

Please pray that the Lord will protect our children from illnesses resulting from the floodwaters. Please ask the Lord to provide relief from the persistent rains that Colombia has experienced this past year.

Compassion Colombia will keep us updated as more information is available.

Compassion International will contact you if your sponsored child has been affected.
